World leading universities
Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development (QF) is a non-profit organisation made up of more than 50 entities working in education, research, and community development. Over the span of more than two decades, QF has cemented its role in supporting an innovative and open society that aspires to develop sustainable human capacity, social, and economic prosperity for a knowledge-based economy.
Qatar National Research Fund
Qatar National Research Fund (QNRF) is a governmental funding body, established by Qatar Foundation, to foster original, competitively selected research in engineering and technology, physical and life sciences, medicine, humanities, social sciences, and arts. QNRF provides several funding programmes for students and professionals conducting research projects that incorporate a Qatar-based partner in the academic, public, and private sectors.
Who is already in Qatar?
HEC Paris is the first European partner of Qatar Foundation’s Education City and the first to launch Qatar’s International Executive MBA. Ranked among the world’s best executive education providers, HEC Paris offers a complete portfolio of management programmes in Qatar, including a specialised Master’s in strategic business unit management, executive certificates, and executive short programmes, in addition to custom programmes for companies and organisations, all run in English.
Carnegie Mellon University
In 2004, Carnegie Mellon and Qatar Foundation began a partnership to bring their own unique style of education to Qatar. The campus brings together the best of both worlds – CMU’s creative, visionary approach and Qatar’s drive for knowledge and advancement. Today, Carnegie Mellon Qatar offers undergraduate programmes in biological sciences, business administration, computer science, and information systems.
International School of Choueifat - Doha
The International School of Choueifat-Doha (ISC-Doha), a member of the global SABIS® Network, first opened its doors in 1999. Today, ISC-Doha is recognised as a provider of top-quality education, which equip students with the ability and desire for lifelong learning, and strengthen their civil, ethical, and moral values.
Doha British School
Doha British School, established and opened in October 1997, is a co-educational comprehensive International school that offers an international education to students from pre-school to Year 13, from over 85 nationalities.
